Although there is truth in the above list I think there are a couple of misconceptions about what God is.

Misconception 1: Love is God’s number one purpose.

No, wrong, love is entirely a human concept. As all things are bound within Gods love: good and evil alike. If this was not the truth we would not develop toward enlightenment as we would have no relative experience to bring us there. Thus, true love exist only in terms of karmic experience as we are lead to higher consciousness.

Misconception 2: Love and oneness is our ultimate experience, (only partly true) and materialism is not important. No way!

Why is this?

God is everything. What this means is God is love, hate, good or bad music, God is beauty, ugliness, pain, joy, oneness and separateness, you and me, taxes, marriage, peanut butter, and ice cream: everything without exception! If everything is connected in oneness, including ourselves, then God, being everything, is the only truth there can be, and we are all not meant to experience the same things. The one aspect that would seriously hinder the infinite possibilities for the “God-thing” to manifest itself would be if we were all meant to experience the same things.

What this means is that not all of us are meant to experience materialism, none materialism, love and oneness. Perhaps ultimately this is indeed God’s goal: but for now it does not seem that all people understand, or have even experienced a lot of love in their lives, and probably never will. Lets be honest, no one knows what God is, where God comes from, and what Gods goals are, nobody.

The bottom line is that we make a lot of things up. “Truth” is not fact but that which we think is important to know. Love and hate are purely human inventions based on their emotions. Emotions make our lives more interesting, God uses emotions to spice up our lives, its all part of the fun!

Why is this?

Because if God is everything at once, than God wants lots of variety, perhaps God is bored, and wants to have fun. Only if, of course, if God knows that God is God at all. Or is God just trying to find out what God really is through a variety of instances of itself, which we are a part of, and call reality? Are all the trillions of instances, pieces of the universe, adding up to the one great God thing?

No one really knows what’s going on here!

We are all so positive that we know what life is all about that we totally miss the fact that we are surrounded by a mind-numbing, beautiful mystery called reality that not even the greatest minds can explain.

Sure, there does seem to be divine laws at work here, hard to deny it, and the secret behind the secret will reveal some of them to you. But in terms of your personal “ego-verse” experience, life is pretty much a free for all.

If you want material things, have fun! Yes! God is desire as well as humility, so desiring material things is just as godlike and right as anything else. If you are going for enlightenment, sounds awesome to me. Go for it! God wants you to be enlightened too. And if God is everything, than we are God too, so start creating: good or bad you shall receive.

Happiness is not a means to an end, but a means in itself. All other goals lead to happiness. It is the biggest goal imaginable. Be in the happy pattern, and more happiness will be yours, as this pattern will become you. All good things automatically come with happiness: love, wealth, and health, etc.
